The Bill that I referred to back in November has come in Parliament again, and has "reared its ugly head".
Surprisingly there has been a dearth of publicity about this - almost as if parliament wants to "slip it through" unnoticed (but they wouldn't do that, would they? I mean it is too reminiscent of National's past performances - the "driving licence Bill" comes to mind. At least Labour were blatant about things and their attitude was "we will do what we want, and if you don't like it, tough!).
Even with the lack of publicity about this, I will never cease to be amazed at people's seeming utter apathy - it's almost as if they WANT to be watched and searched. Do we have a country of masochists?
