Personally I feel that the latest Justice &Electoral Interim report on Search& Surveillance Bill could undermine our private property rights on privacy when the police officer are given power to do a 24 hour day surveillance search at any time without consent of the owner or the purpose. This bill has some hidden secret at why they won't let the owners know they are searching the property. This bill intends to make the use of Video & Audio surveillance a primary used. I feel that this bill breach some part of the privacy law and Human Rights. If the government wants to pass the bill into law the only is instead listed the objections or view from opponents to enable them to get a feedback before it can get debated in Parliament. Let's hope the government will learn a lesson on the objections of opponents of the Search &Surveillance Bill.
