Default NZ gov't plans to extort more for entire month (so far)

Does anyone seriously think that this is all about lowering the road toll? Or "keeping it down"? Or "safety" or any of the other silly, sanctimoneous excuses that are often proffered for this behaviour?????

And look POLICE ARE MAKING NO APOLOGIES AGAIN!!!! (How many times have we read that silly comment?) In fact:

Acting Superintendent Rob Morgan said "We know that keeping speeds down has a significant part to play and so we make no apologies for keeping the pressure on ..."

Come on people, how long are we going to put up with this silly behaviour from the most arrogant, pychopathic people in the country (the "police" who typically "joined" because they wanted to 'get back' at the people who beat them up at school every day for pulling the wings off butterflies all the time and torturing kittens - now they have vowed to torture you)? After all the "police" are not there to protect you from crime but to take orders from their bureaucratic masters.

Does anyone at all agree with being extorted from for the entire month of February (so far, my information is that there is lobbying to make it permanent)?

its not just the police, although they are fast becoming the tax collectors of pre revolution history, everywhere you turn there seems to be government sanctioned shortsighted morons finding ways of relieving you of your harder and harder earned income. child support, acc, rego, road users, ever-increasing rates demands, not to mention extra fees for services your rates are already paying for, gst, and they would rather see you earn nothing and give them nothing, than give up a single cent of what they think you owe them, this is the short sighted and moronic nature of public officials, how their gene pool has survived through history boggles my mind. if i was that stupid i'm sure i would forget to breathe.
we need a lobby group to minimize the amount these useless morons are allowed to take from our earnings, without having to go bankrupt, at the current trend we will end up owing them more than we are capable of earning

Just one thing: "we need a lobby group to minimize the amount these useless morons are allowed to take from our earnings .....'

"Minimise"??? Do you mean that it is fine that they are "ALLOWED" to take from our earnings??

The definition of THEFT is taking something by force that doesn't belong to you. Why is that not good for anyone else to do, but acceptable for government??

Someone tried to tell me about two weeks ago "you have a moral obligation to pay taxes, it is a social contract". Obviously my reply was "I haven't ever signed, or agreed to, any 'social contract'". The person told me "your parents did, on your behalf, when you were born and they 'registered' you". I told them then, and it is an absolute fact and totally indisputable: THE TERMS OF A CONTRACT CANNOT BE IMPLIED! If you expect someone to sign a contract, you have to set out the terms clearly, even in "small print" and cannot coerce them into signing it, it has to be done out of their own free will. This would not apply to "registration of birth".

i meant hat they should have a budget to provide the services they are supposed to provide and work within it, rather than devising new ways of extorting additional money for their own purposes.
